Went to the Patek exhibition today- well worth a look. Some seriously shiney watches there, and they have watchmakers who were happy to answer a load of no doubt to them daft questions.

Ordered a new strap for my watch. Didnt notice it was in the US. Now im dreading the customs and added vat... And i thought i had found a proper deal.

Eulit are good, got a couple off ebay from a place in Germany, tenner or so apiece including shipping.

Comfort and style! And you can get them exactly as tight as you want them.

I have been looking for an automatic chronograph for a while.
Omega Speedmaster has been the front runner for a while, but i fear it will be a little small, ideally looking at a 42-45mm size, in the £1200 range (probably stretchable by a couple of hunnerd)

Any ideas?

Yh been toying with the idea but the 031 is just the perfect size for my spindly wrists!

Speedy pro is a manual winder, cant be dealing with that.

Looking at a couple of watches, not quite sure what is the right phrase to describe them, sort of but not consistently minimalist.
If there are any others in a similar vein, any help is welcome.
Also if any should be avoided for any reason please let me know, trying to keep under £150 so unfortunately a max bill is out :-(
