Tudor Submariner (if I ever find one!)
Did you see this one Joe. Listing looked ever so moody, but as I go to Manchester regularly I was tempted to have a look.

After much frustrating research... For the amount of money I'd have to spend on a good Tudor Submariner (if I ever find one!) I may as well get a fucking Rolex Sub!!
Bah!
What I find weird is that price gap between second hand Tudor sub's and a Rolex sub's doesn't seem to be that big.
What about just getting a sub?
Seriously though, I know you say you don't like Rolex and they're too flashy, but in truth it sounds like you do like the watches just not having a little crown on it.
So many diving watches are copies of / homages to the submariner. If you like and want a sub, why not just buy the real thing? Or else buy something that's good value and looks the same like the Steinhart. If a Tudor was 50% the price of a sub, then it makes sense... at 90% it really doesn't imo.

Didn't know about those. Lovely. Looks much nicer than the current Rolex Explorer. If only they made a slightly smaller one for my girly wrists....

How about a homage to a fiddy?

At the moment, realistically, that's all I could afford.
This is the one I keep getting drawn back to.

What are the main causes of a watch failing to keep time? My watch has always been accurate for the last 5 or so years but I had the battery replaced recently and it now seems to loose about 15minutes per week.
Is it likely to be related to the battery replacement, or something else?

Fuck me! Honestly someone's trying to sell a commonly-bootlegged luxury item with pics and a write-up like that, winds me right up

Nah, really don't get this. It's a Rolex badged as a Tudor - confused.com
What I like about Tudor today is they have their own identity and are no longer in the shadow of Lolex. Sure they'll give style nods toward their somewhat overbearing musty old Uncle but it's now knowingly - and that's the difference.

Agree, Pelagos all day long
I did get major crotch swellage over the Pelagos until I handled one in the flesh a few weeks ago, and, well it just didn't do it for me. Can't really put my finger on why, just a bit like getting Emma Watson into bed and finding out that she whickers like a horse all the way through sex or something.
