We shall see.

I just love the super domed crystal on my A4. I can imagine it looks the mutts nuts on the A1.
-
• #12254
Having seen his A4, I'm very tempted by the A8 (it is the cheapest one).

The A9 1200 black is rather nice too - and not overly soup plate in dimensions.

Have got my lovely starp from Murtle for my shark diver. I've just gone to swap it over but have found that the tool included in the box is just a regular screwdriver. Not the hex tool which splits in two.
Is this normal? Do you have to buy it separately?

I've got most bits if you want - have to post though so it would help if you could be precise on size / config you need?

Just come back today from STS . Absolutely bang on . I was gonna sell this but I am gonna hang onto for a while at least
Nice, let me know if you reconsider selling, I may be interested.

According to the reviews that's correct; it comes with the bracelet screwdrivers but not the hex tool

Well that's fucking irritating.

Confirmed. For some reason only the SD45 comes with the hex tool.

Mad looking 70s watch, comes in a cool box
-
• #12264
How long do you reckon one of these would work for?
-

In more serious news...
As savings are currently earning next to nothing, what watches would make a decent investment?
I ask this a little tongue in cheek, I'm not looking to make money from buying and selling watches, I just wondered if there was anything in particular that was worth buying that I could potentially sell at a later date and not lose on

Is that a Steinhart replica? A replica of a homage?
I give it the same as my Lolex. It'll keep perfect time for a month then start losing twenty mins a day.

Twenty minutes a day is impressive.
Did it turn your wrist green?
-
• #12268
never buy thinking youre doing it for investment. If it goes up, then good for you. If it doesnt, then you wont be shocked.

No. Thats the annoying thing. Its a really solid looking fake. Even the bracelet is impressive. End pieces of bracelet are pretty obviously shonky though.
I enjoyed wearing it so much I might buy a real one one day ;)

I want a homage of a PAM48
-
• #12271
Don't do it.

I'm not looking to make anything, just wondered what people's thoughts were...
i.e... My Dad bought an Omega Seamaster PO five years ago and the RRP has doubled since then, would he get back what he paid for it now if he sold it?
-
• #12273
Don't do it.
but why not?
-
• #12274
Either buy a real one (although they're for cunts imo) or don't bother.... it'll just break.
-
• #12275
Fakes break. I learned the hard way. Don't do it Iain.
If you are going bronze I'd suggest the A1 over any of their cheaper offerings.
