What time is it? Watches and horology

Am selling this to fund something else , taken as a part ex a few months back . No box or papers current retail is £5900 looking for £3250 .

Who doesn't keep box and papers?

Was a guy who moved back from abroad . I thought I had a spare box but I dont . You can always apply to IWC for an extract from the factory archive and for a small fee they send you a folder with production date and where it went to etc

I accidentally ordered a 20mm bloodsrtipe Nato - anyone have any use for it? before I try and send it back for a 22mm

why not the precision date instead of the 5700?

That's ok , even tho we are not a stockist any longer I do know when something is dodgy and something is a bargain .

It doesn't cost that much to get IWC to provide an "extract from the archives". Still a bit of a faff sending an incredibly expensive item to Switzerland though.

You don't send the watch , you just give them the case serial number and €30 and they send you through the post a little booklet with movement details when it was produced and where it went to be sold etc . I did it with my 1966 cal 89 IWC .

srs question - if its that easy/cheap, why not get it done now so that the buyer gets it as part of the deal?
