Jeans + cuffed shirt = big no no, like wearing high heels with a shell suit
this is a good rule. i made some cufflinks out of four regular buttons for this same reason.

Just before the heat wave hit I saw a girl in some Seven NYC jeans, Acne wedges and mens button down with french cuffs and silver links. looked amazing.
but for boys, yeah I wear those elastic ball cuffling things if I'm wearing a french cuff shirt with out a jacket.

I'm looking for a simple but professional looking watch, something that looks like the classic casio here but higher quality, say £100-200 budget. I mean are there even any watches worth buying in that price range or shall i save up for something nice that lasts forever?

I wear a slight variation of this M&co for MOMA watch almost every day as a cheap and chearfull option I don't have to worry about scratching/ losing/ getting robbed over. I have had no problem with mine and have no complaints.
mine is a year old version with a cat for 9, a tree for 3, and an egg for 12. Its not business like but I've had a few girls tell me its cute. Not a statement peice, but then I tend to wear to many of those...

ticketty boo! thanks
I have some shirts with the cocktail cuff - not a big fan, fiddly when worn with a suit as the cuff isnt flush enough to the wrist. I got em though because i am a firm believer that cufflinks should only be used when wearing formal wear/suit/jacket.
