How is Obree forgotten? There was a movie about him made only a couple of years ago and he's still racing and he's a fucking legend.

Pedalling backwards to go up hill?
Still technically possible on fixed though.
Remember reading about this guy who did the London to Paris, or something, on one of these a couple of years ago. Would have loved to have seen him spinning up the climbs.

From my bmx days the acs z zim. When I got mine I bent the hell out of them on purpose waiting for them to miraculously flex back true. The result - bent rims. Put them in the freezer, the result - cold bent rims and an angry mum:
Scroll down to see how they were marketed

Lying cnuts.
I had ACS z wheels on my Burner. You needed special brake pads too. The wheels were tough and light - much more so than the standard crap which I had quickly destroyed. But then I didn't deliberately bend the hell out of mine ;-)
My mum gave my z-wheel equipped Burner to the kid next door some years ago. I was not pleased.
Weren't mag-lites a seven spoke version of the Skyway Tuff? Were they magnesium alloy rather than nylon?
