detto and duegi made some similar, they were the best shoes ever. so rigid. a hebay seller in bulgaria has some very similar but only small sizes
Damn and I think I told the ex wife to throw them away with the over shoes, crash helmet and dodgy jerseys, I should have kept the raleigh one ;o((
I think I still have a tub of Campag grease somewhere though ;o))
edit, looking at those Duegi's remind me of my Sidi's and I bought mine in the early 80's also, shaved legs, tight lycra walking to your track bike, jeeez I must have looked so fcuking ghey lol

Not sure Sidi did, but yes, Duegi was the first.
65 USD in the early 80's for the Duegi's
100 USD for the Detto's when they were released a few years later.
i'm sure later on duegi did shoes in silver as well, which at the time was quite novel but frowned upon by the traditionalists who thought that the world was coming to an end what with that and flourescent panels down the sides of shorts, skin suits and lo pro bikes and aero helmets. amatuers had to put black tape over the duegi logo,,,,,can you believe that?

that there tub of white grease would make a few old cyclists very happy

The Duegi Keirin
Detto Pietro
The Detto's looked better back then because the wooden sole was visible. -

When you where an amatuer and you raced in those days then any sort of advertising was frowed upon, I think I still have my old racing licence somewhere.
I think I will have a dig around for that tub of grease for old times sake might even have some old orange tubeless tyres lying around somewhere, how I hated punctures lol
