so, who's up for some riding in 2010?
It's gonna take me a while to get my fitness back up, i have no muscle at all left in my left leg...
shall we get some dates for some rides in? maybe once a fortnight to start with?

It's my goal to get my sorry arse back on a road bike and do some miles in 2010. I've still not changed over to my shiny carbon compact chainset yet! Lazy bastard!!

Ok, anyone up for a ride around Cheshire this Saturday ?
It's one most have done before a gentle 35 miles from Chorlton out via Partinton->Lymm->Tatton Park-> Airport orbital route->Styal and back to Chorlton for burgers and beer at The bar or bratwurst and beer at The Marble.
Weather dependent as possible snow this week, it's also a fixed/SS friendly route.
Prob meet 11:30ish at Unicorn for a midday set off

yeah but supposed to be going for a walk. i think if it's snowing i'm walking and if not then i might ride. reckon everyone that would come on the walk would come on the ride if the roads are clear. the idea of it was just to get out cos of the snow.

poss weekend after too..it's the ladies lycra ride on the sunday but i reckon i need as mch riding as i can get...
we should just get back on the saturday midday rides and just scratch it if it's shite weather
it's annoying that we can't post bikehike routes any more.

just went to a spinning class. was defo the cyclist in the class, i expect the one at the velodrome is a bit more hardcore. was sweating like mad and noone else was really but they weren't really pedalling that hard. i kinda liked it, good for core strength i reckon. anyway obv. roads are better.
is anyone up for tuesday nights again? i know it gets dark and snow is coming but on nice weather evenings it would be good to do the whitworth>tod>mytholmroyd>cragg vale>rochdale loop
also saturdays after this one too.
@ronnie- do you remember that 1st ever ride we went on where we rode round cheshire lanes and went down a long sweeping hill. where was that? i have never found it again...

I think you mean the A50 from High Legh down to Mere
The only other hill of note on that run is the short sharper one near the tunnels

If we do a Cheshire ride, you don't need a front mech, or do it fixed.
-
• #469
what's wrong with it? (your front mech) can i fix it? or take it to ken fosters then at least you're already here ...
