BTW possible ride for this saturday is 55 miles around Cheshire (inc Jodrell Bank), doable fixed, however, weather forecast is heavy rain, so I may just stay in bed and listen to the rain lashing against the windows.

I'm away on holiday for the next few weeks so no rides for me for a while.

I need a geared bike. Then I'd be all over longer rides. I'd do saturdays ride if I wasn't going to the theatre at 6.

i can't do saturday now either gonna be in the lake district.. i did the cat and fiddle and long hill ride again on sunday and it was a bit easier...and rode the blackstone edge hill again today..again, felt not so deathly...gonna try get up some near keswick on saturday anyway...

Ok, no ride this Saturday, I think Seth may be taking the piss. If he's over on the 20th, shall we do the C&F ride but the other way ? Probably take an alternate route out of the Goyt Valley and go home via Pott Shrigley maybe.

If not come over the Saturday after and do another Cat and Fiddle ride. Weather has just gotta be decent, though we'll do it even if it ain't.

I'm not riding with the blind tandem group on Sunday now, so I'm up for camping or just a day ride.

i doubt im gonna do alton towers- courier work all week makes long rides on the weekend a less attractive option

ALSO people who are up for the cat and fiddle on the 20th are you up for starting EARLIER??? I want to get to Disley for 2pm, what time do you think we should set off going on last time? When we get to Disley we have to go open a nature resurve at a local school!!!! We shall be celebrities..i know it sounds random and i told them we'll be in lycra but the theme for the summer fair is sport anyway so we'll just fit right in...you can always skulk at the back for ten minutes if you don't want to do that bit though....

I'd say 10:00 - 10:30 ish to be safe, no stops at the C&F. You open your fete and we the rest shall retire to one of Disley's better boozers........

i am ruddy registered for the Tour of the Peak...but only for the 64 miler....still bit scared/excited though...let's get holme moss in. me and seth are gonna ride up blackstone egde from macc then ride down to littleborough then back up and down to sowerby bridge next week...

just spoke to him about doing the Stalybridge - the moors - Holmfirth - Holme Moss - Glossop - Home. he is up for it...can you do 27th June, we can..
