where's the pics?

Great fun last night guys, glad to see the green tape crew representing!
Highlights of the night for me were:Recovering that guy Adams stolen bike, what a great feeling!
Meeting lots of new people and putting forum names to faces. The surprise set of 3-4 stairs by the river that I managed to bunnyhop down before realising that 2-3 people behind me hadn't seen them and nearly crashed haha.
Bombing it around everywhere, a faster pace than I was expecting, but enjoyable nonetheless.
JimBillys Cheap Rum and magic green penis that got passed around ;)
NYLON with some lifesaving supertrailmix which sweirdly satisfied my beer cravings temporarily :).
Beers by the river and chilling out with everyone.
and chillaxing with charco fatpants and gormley back at the flat, ever thankful that I didn't have a long ride home!

was epic, fun times and the pack stayed together and at a good pace which was enjoyable... until the split up and head on meet at southwark bridge it was like a medieval battle fiel everyone rounding the corner and facing each other...
highlights ped shouting what are you doing fifty of us shouting back 'riding our bikes', enjoyed shouting left hole bollard LOOOGG, for the chinese whispers to take over and them to turn into a generic grunt.
guy on the grey bike with the blue jersey that must have the most insane breakfast cereal as he was nuts!
the pub in kew did stink and everyone in it was a knob (apart from all us!) -

My first forum ride and a really great night out, great route, lovely people and a beautiful night. Highlights all round as far as I'm concerned...
Thanks especially to all the people who chipped in to cover our fines (kindly distributed by the Beyonce loving London Met) we pretty much had enough to cover both tickets. It just kinda added to the night... -
• #487
fines by the met.... whole drama i missed whats the story morning glory??
-
• #488
Oh the usual I think, jumping lights around London Bridge, getting yelled at, getting fined. But it was super nice of everyone to look out for us. Nice people, nice scene...

Stopped right at the start to help with p*tures - one bloke suffering valve fail, his friend holding his bike up while he pumps, and as i pass i realise there are loud hissing sounds coming from both their bikes... His friend has a pin-badge stuck in his back tyre. A 531 pin badge. We swap one inner and patch the other, but just as we get the second up to pressure another valve fails (sharp edges on rim?), so they bail and i sprint for Wandsworth bridge expecting to get ahead of the pack, but run into another group who tell me we are still behind. Finally rejoin the action at Battersea park.
So i missed a few bridges, and then missed the millennium too, but it was an awesome ride at a good pace. I felt i still had a few bridges left in me at the end, but it turned out i needed them to get me home. Cheers to dropout, morgan, damo and someone else for excellent company on the ride back - made the miles fly by.

Who was that black fella on the Fuji? Bonkers! Cycling like a man posessed, whingin and frontin people - I thought he was gonna smack someone on one point when he said "Oi man, watch it man, fuckin cut me up man..."
Mate, you were on a bike ride with nearly 100 people, course people are gonna cut across you at some point, chillax fella -
• #495
he was also riding on the wrong side of the road shouting at cars to get off his road.....motherfucka....
It was amusing the first time.
edit: actually dunno if that was him or not, the guy I am thinking of had a grey/black frame

Are you waiting for them to develop?
On brick lane I wanted to keep going, half hour later was another story. Gonna go for a spin in a bit, getting itchy feet

Awesome ride, my first bridges, did a fair bit of sprinting which was nice, and sprinting with the crazy black dude (Andre) on the Lemond. He is nuts, but i still cained him :P I swear he's always on crack, even when he's at work! lol.
Cheers for the sofa James, i'm starting to like it, a lot. :P I don't think i would have made it all the way home.
Good bit of banter all the way through, waking up every residential area we went through by shouting about the obstructions...
Cheers to Martin and the dude on the Fuji SS with red campag hat (sorry, forgot your name!) for unlosting ourselves. I would have been fucked if it hadn't have been for you.
So many highlights. Too many to mention.

Fine last sprints over london and tower bridges.
