Trevor Bull - he's the LBS mechanic from when I lived in Brum and suggested I ride a fixed wheel when I was asking about 'as low maintenance as possible' bikes about 4 years ago! I knew he was an ex-pro but have never seen any photos of him in action.

with an average diameter of 80 microns, i doubt you see individual fibres, i struggle under a microscope. -

Why not get a manufacturer/clothing label/etc to sponsor the book? Seems like the sort of thing that a lot of companies would be willing to put their name to.
Also, I've got a proper neg/slide scanner if you want to borrow it (currently lent to Wigan Will).

Cheers Tom. Yeah, there seems like there'd be plenty of routes to try and take if and when it came to putting a book or something together. My dad already has a decent negative scanner, plus a massive flatbed for prints, he seems pretty on the case with this. Hopefully there should be some more pics to show soon!
