Seniors then. Yes - it does sell out extremely quickly. Do the fun race? It's...fun.

Dimi do you know when entries are open for muddy hell this year?

Muddy Hell is an hour of racing, max. SuperCross fun race is a laugh - foam gun, tequilla shortcut, 'spiral of death', chips, beer - it's worth doing, although not everyone will get their ugly mugs on the inside cover of Cycling Weekly as compensation I admit.

That space is reserved for the truly ugly and by that I mean the gut churningly hideous. Why who did they feature last year?
-
• #958
Some dickhead in a scarf. Was it mikey5000 stacking it in the foam, too?

M5K, urgh the though of his face in print just made me do a little sick in my mouth.

the one with BC points
I'd buy a cross bike first before worrying about BC points. ;-)
To be honest, BC cross points are virtually worthless anyway as their main usage is for gridding purposes in category A events.

that would really help.

Who's coming to MK on Saturday for the CX training day? Possible groupsave with DC and I if you are training it.

If four of us travel we get half price tickets, assuming you haven't bought an advance. If interested let me know which time and we'll meet up.

I'm up for thar. Being lazy i'd prefere the later train as it doesnt look far from the train station but depends if you'd prefere more time to faff around with tubs and such :p

Tubs? Nah it's a training day. Happy to do the later train if we can make it in time for the start.

Can't get out with Andy P tomorrow, so took the crosser down to Richmond Park this evening. Nice evening, but horrendous traffic on the way down.
Running the tubeless wheelset. Dropped the tyre pressures to about 20psi at the Park and all was going well. Nice and floaty, plenty of grip. Bike felt great. Did some reps of my favorite hill before I managed to score a sidewall puncture which sealant didn't immediately fix. Bugger.
Popped some air in and limped up and over the hill towards civilization before flatting completely. The misery of popping the tyre off and getting a tube in was equal to that of walking to Puntney tube in my mind at this point.
Decided to put my faith in Stans - pumped some more air in and found the gash - it was big enough to hear the air escaping clearly. Positioned the wheel with the gash at the bottom then tipped the bike up on its side so as to let the sealant pool directly over the gash. A thin jet of sealant shot out momentarily then a blob of sealant formed a spot where the gash was. All was silent. Put more air in then rode homewards. Had to top up the air at Putney but by the time I got back to Paddington the tyre was holding pressure nicely.
/csb etc.

Went training on new tubeless wheelset, got a nasty puncture, sealant didn't fix it, then with some lateral thinking it did. Bullet dodged.
I'm 60kg - I've run clinchers at 20psi with no probs. MTB tubeless tyres at sub 20. All depends on your weight.
