Cyclocross - CX and SSCX races and training

Out this week, might/should be in for the southern ones (Frylands, HH).

I've only been running to work and back, barely any bike fitness.
This is going to be an experience.

It's only summer cross anyway.

It's not like I pay my mortgage with my race results...

I think that caught a lot of people out. I only just managed to stay on the bike in the first lap as I took it far too fast. I was talking with Matt Webber after the race and he’d done the same, and someone else I know had a large hole in his elbow from crashing there.

And apologies for not skidding, but I was on gears.

yeah, those straights into the drop offs were always going to cause problems. I nearly went otb on one lap. Was great fun though, look forward to the next one.

I pegged it straight into the first drop first lap and landed flat 😐
