If you want to bunny hop you should at least learn the technique...

I think that was a case where mind over matter failed.

@andyp & @biarittz
Oi bollocks you two, why would I be in the playground when there is a perfectly decent cafe next door.I was planning to do Holme Pierrepoint this weekend but it looks like I am in London on Saturday so will miss the Saturday race there and then in Derby Sunday so will miss the Sunday race here.
Next season etc...

Anyone know of a London shop that sells Clement PDX clinchers?
-
• #2287
Nope. Try condor, cyclelab maybe...urm could get them in for you at micycle if you don't need them asap?
Who's going to the MK world cup round? @Mikenetic?

• #2288
Get that Red Bull paper cyclocrossers
-
• #2290
They look quite similar to the challenge limus - a dedicated mud tyre. Let us know how you get on.

I tried some Clement LAS tubeless in the summer and it wasn't particularly successful I'm afraid, so I hope the PDX are better.
They were very loose on the rim from the off and it was very easy to get them to burp when cornering.

I know a couple of people in my club that run them tubeless so hopefully should be alright, but we'll have to see!
I've got a habit of burping my tubeless tyres, don't think I'm smooth enough in the corners so put too much lateral pressure on them! I'm going to stick with them for the rest of this season and perhaps get some tubs for next year!

• #2293
Which tyer / rim ?
-
• #2295
They were running the same setup, Clement PDX/Iron Cross
Edit: Oh wait, you might have meant what I keep burping at the minute, which is Michelin Mud 2/Iron Cross
-
• #2296
I never burped a mud 2, but I did kill a couple because of skill deficits.
@BareNecessities yep thems the ones. Heavy but confidence inspiring.
-
• #2297
Cheers, might try them out on the upcoming build :-)
Heavy
Still 160g ( per pair ) lighter than my current mtb pedals.
-
• #2298
Looks like the PDX/Iron Cross won't work with just a track pump, nowhere near sealing.
Anyone know where to buy a cheap compressor? Argos only seem to have 12v ones for cars

If last year is anything to go by, the course will mainly be on hard packed aggregate trails. I turned up with a pair of Rhinos last year and ended up riding the race on the Michelin Muds I had on my spare wheels, and last autumn was much wetter than this one.
So I'll be running the Michelin Muds again.
Are there showers at cyclopark?
