  • Meanwhile, Helen Wyman won the Koppenberg CX last Thursday.

  • Err, she won it yesterday. Nikki Harris third.

  • Good to see London League regulars Delia Beddis and Claire Beaumont racing there too.

  • Koppenberg you say? We rode it on the way from Calais to Bruxelles. Nice and dry, no wheelspin.

  • Ian Field was running tings for a couple of laps in Belgium yesterday. Sporza commentators were getting bit flustered.

He's pretty good in a field.

    Close enough.

    Any footage online?

  • Dave Haygarth has just posted up on his site;

  • Ace, thanks. Any racing for you this weekend?

  • I won't be racing again until the 17th. I did ponder doing the National Trophy round in Southampton tomorrow, but then decided not to be so daft.

When's the next Central League race?

  • 17th November Luton. That will be my next race.

Did 30 miles of cross country around Biggin Hill today. If you want to ride the three pimples... its very boggy and quite challenging at the moment.

  • spoiler alert

Helen Wyman and Nikki Harris 1-2 at Euro CX champs.

  • Anyone fancies CX ride Saturday morning?

  • Yeah can do. Where do you have in mind?

  • Not too bothered, did the usual pimples route two weeks ago and that was really muddy and good fun.
Happy to venture out elsewhere though, needs to be less than 2.5 hours and some hills would be good.

  • Epping?

  • I'd suggest this monster but it was trecherous enough on 2" mud tyres...

  • That looks good, suitable for CX bikes?

@dimi do you know any good flowing routes in Epping? Last time I went there I spent more time figuring out where to go than riding.

What about North downs or PORC?

  • No, I don't. Thought I will figure it out as I go along.

What about North downs or PORC?

You could ride it on 30mm mud tyres. Suspect it would be quite challenging though. It's also very steep in places. I was using the full range of my cassette with a 22t chainring. And thats on 26" wheels. It would be punishing on a race geared cx bike.

    What is PORC?

I have Epping routes a plenty.

  • Oh ok sorry I was being lazy.

I also know a monster loop around Dorking Peaslake which could be entertaining - but that's an hour out of Victoria.

    Sorry about that :)

  • lol, wasn't referring to that ride, that was a nice steady and adventurous winter ride which I enjoyed :).

  • Sven is on discs at the weekend, repeat, Sven on disc brakes at Bollekescross.

  • bollocks what
