Seasonal bump. And if anyone's wondering if they should be practising their hurdling technique, here's a less than subtle reminder;

If you can only afford one set of tubulars (aside from clinchers) should I go for an dry, intermediate or wet set?
Assuming normal UK cross conditions

Get a mud pair, they'll cope better with intermediate conditions than an intermediate pair will cope with mud.
Dugast Rhinos are best but they are expensive and not as durable as other brands (as they have cotton sidewalls that can rot). I've not used them but the new Challenge Limus looks good (and challenge have polyester sidewalls that don't rot).

Thanks Andy!

Are the Vittoria tires any good? Evo Corsa XG??
It's just that I can get those at trade...
-

I've not used Vittoria tubs, but the clinchers are good.
I get confused as to which is the mud one, I thought it was the XM rather than the XG.

I hate, HATE, my xm pro clinchers in mud, don't rate the tread pattern at all. Going for challenges this year.

Sweet air, followed by a not so sweet landing... Trip to A&E, three fractures to the clavicle and a fractured rib. Some awesome riding in Wimbledon Park tho

Too many punctures lately, though it isn't pinches.
Anyone running sealant in their tubes?

Don't know if they've been mentioned before, But I actually really like THIS IDEA.

I guess they could potentially feel a bit more 'in the way' in certain gears whilst braking, but I'm sure they've dealt with that during testing?

i did the London league CX race at gunpowder park. was fun. 1st one and didn't come last that's all I cared about ;) 1st time doing anything off road so very technically funny :)

Yesterday's London league race at PORC would've tested your technical skills to the limit. One section in particular, a steep downhill grassy bank with a 90 degree left turn at the top, followed by a 90 degree left turn at the bottom was extremely challenging. I tried to challenge it but it won, as my legs now testify.
