I know this has been touched on in the Snow Bike thread but does anyone have any thoughts or experience with off road drops? I have a ss mtb project and am considering:
Midges (currently on offer)
Bell Lap
Woodchippers (probably a bit wide)
Ragley Luxy -

Moonboy, go for it.
There's an MTB topic that's probably better suited, or the current topic, however my recommendation in order;
Ragley Luxy
Midge
Woodchipper.I understand that the woodchipper is wide, but the wide bar is a lots more idea off roading being able to control the bike easily.
(I did not mention bell lap as I hasn't seen those bar, and I like the woodchipper, but it's very much a marmite thing, which is why it's not quite in the top).

I like these; pretty much what you'd find on a classic 3 speed, and cheap.

I think you should also add Syntace Stratos bars.. The comfiest bullbars evah because of the backward and inward sweep.. Highly recommended!

Does anyone know which bars are able to take bar ends, and normal clamp brakes (22.2) apart from the Nitto Albatross?
Cheers.

Velo Orange bar have an 22.2 or 23.8mm option.
don't suppose anybody's found some north road/priest bars with an oversize 31.8 mm clamp size!?
want some as an alternative for drops on my steamroller but have, so far, only found the cinelli valencia bars.
