  • wtf Gav...that "card" is my tyre boot dude. its helped many TRNC riders get home. well two of so far...

i can vouch for that. bmmf said paper money works just as well, or something like that

  • I've never tried with coinage or plastic.

  • Blimey! Did you have both punctures? That's bad luck. (poor maintenance)

actually i had the second puncture. it was a bizarre incident / nature spot. in trying to avoid a Patagonian Skunk I unwittingly ran over a Mexican tree Porcupine...and pssssssssshhh (sound of air escaping tube) what were the odds? still that pretty much puts me right out there on the nature spot award

  • by the way folks I'm out of the next tnrc if it is biweekly cuz albion are playing arsenal in the carling cup £10 a ticket

  • A good a reason as any to hit the roads...

  • wtf Gav...that "card" is my tyre boot dude. its helped many TRNC riders get home. well two of so far...

*cough * want it back cough

shit the bed. just googled it. i didn't know they existed. will have to buy some...

  • let's get this next one sorted. I'm not going to be there as i will be at the emirates but I can coordinate from TNRC central. Sam it looked like you were up for kent on the 22nd? what do you reckon?

  • that was andyp in a costume trying to bump up the badger myth.

Rumbled! I waited for fucking ages too.

  • If you want to do Kent as the next one, then fine by me, I can make it.

Take your pick as to which route, I'm not that fussed.

  • I'm out cowboys. have fun.

  • Sam, I suggest you pick the one that suits the Brompton

  • I'd vote for the first Kent route, the one that starts from the delightful St Mary Cray.

  • It was still my plan, Claus...

Hope folks don't mind, but as a bit of 'near season-end fun', I thought I'd take my Brompton out for a spin on the Kent ride. It would probably be too tough on the second route though.

As a few people know the route, you wouldn't have to worry about waiting for me should when I drop back, which will mainly be on the climbs and any draggy sections.

If anyone's against this, say so now, or forever hold your peace.

  • kent sounds good sam, nice one. will start the list with rules etc later today.

  • can i vote for the one in the chilterns before 22nd of oct ??? please.

  • could work texas. kent then chilterns then surrey. then rest.

  • could work texas. kent then chilterns then surrey. then the alps.

    fixed.

  • then the pterodactyl party

  • so accurate

    Sweet!

  • What is the rout of this ride?

  • first kent one is nice. chilterns i didn't finish. it brings up lovely bloody memories though. actually both of these rides were tinted RED FTW
