My lights are very inadequate, one of the reasons I haven't done one of these yet. I will tail someone with decent lights, once it gets dark. But the evenings are so bright right now, I'm sure I will be ok

I'm returning a light to martin. I imagine he'd be ok with you using it for the night?
Could anyone print me out a copy of the map, just in case?

I was secretly hoping I could make it tonight, but I am still recovering from the Dartmoor Classic at the weekend.

Guy, I'm printing two copy of the map.

i'm out :( been to whipps X hospital this morning from work with an allergic reaction to ...strawberries..the doc thinks. looking a bit like the elephant man and as far as i know he was pants on a bike. if the tablets bring the swelling down and don't make me too drowsy i'll be back in again.

Also, is anyone cycling back after this. Whats the plan. Not been on one of these before. Do we stay as a group the whole ride, or do we meet up at the end in a pub or station?

mike, we generally try and stay together. the roydon ride has a bit of a race to the pub thing but that is because the last 10 miles are easy to navigate. of course if people have their own maps and want to go off the front that is cool. but for people who don't know where they are going i would suggest staying near shoots and myself tonight who will do our best to keep it going at a decent speed within everyones range

next Marylebone ride, I'll be there. No excuses. Enjoy the ride tonight all.

suggestion is to go for the group buy thing for four people. if you buy online you are less likely to be able to quad up...
