Well if say 6 teams sign up, and people feel that's too many, then we can split into two groups, we have enough courts.
I'm sure there will be throw-ins at Downs tomorrow, once the team games are done.
You're right. This is reasonable. Numbers will always prevail.

BUMP
Please use this thread to organise team nights, or to announce team nights/mornings that have been organised in private, so no one gets disappointed when they turn up to play throw-ins.
Please organise team nights on days or courts where established throw-in sessions aren't occuring. (Mon/Weds @ Newington or Tues/Thurs @ Mitch)

Woohoo, consensus.

1) We have a team games thread; the informal rule has always been that a team can organize on there and, depending on light, 3 or 4 teams maximum.
2) The norm has always been that it is fine to organize team games privately as long as they don't conflict with regular pickup days/courts (Mitch on Tues and Thurs; Newt on Weds; weekend afternoons at Downs or Mitch or Newt).
3) We should be cool about letting teams play together at pickup. This is pretty easy to arrange with a team taking the last game in a grand shuffle.

This thread is a great re-read. London polo on its best behaviour.

Tomorrow, I'd like to play polo, but tornadoes aren't all around. Sounds like there are many teams already. If there is a secret throw in polo session, I'll go to that.
I'm confused. I definitely have to work tomorrow now but the other guys still want to play polo (they're only here this weekend) so should they turn up to Downs about 12ish or are there throw-ins elsewhere?! Or is it worth waiting for throw-ins on Sunday?

I have no idea?
Am up for afternoon polo somewhere, people might play throw ins after team games I guess? Sounds like people are playing team games in the morning at downs.
P.s. I am not anti team games, I think they are a legit form of organised leisure. -

Passed It will be at Downs on Saturday morning @ 9ish. We want to get some team play in, but will do drills if no other teams are there. We would be happy to play anyone, including novices or throw in teams.

you can't win with this "community"!
Yep, that's what I said too, 80 competitive, the rest beginners, casuals, irregulars.
