None of mine have ever split and I have quite a few Spesh tubes bought from Cycle Surgery in the City.

Now either that shop sells magical inner tubes or you lot are a bunch of cack-handed inbreds.

Only used the inner tubes on my sons bike with Durano Plus (rear)
& a Lugano (ftont), and only ridden about 50 miles so far,
so too soon to comment on longevity.
