9th in the list or bottom of Greys Inn Rd on the map. :)

Also ...
and Geoffrey Butler http://www.gbcycles.co.uk/ (Croydon)
... are missing.
Good work mattty. I hope you can find the time to add these on our behalf.
Skills that's a very good shop, I'm glad it's my lbs. Some lovely bikes in there

Is London Joggers on Goldhawk actually a bike shop?
I was there last night and they have bikes but do they sell anything else or service stuff? -
• #57
I would definitely recommend Shorter Rochford cycles, Potters Bar
-
• #58
Added On Your Bike London and Evans Cycles at London Bridge, both are on Tooley Street and rather convenient for me.
-
• #59
Also repositioned Evans on Waterloo Rd and added Evans on The Cut.

Seems that the tinyurl isn't directing to the map any more. Seems to be that google change the url of the user-generated maps - very helpful!
I'm contemplating buying a domain name for it, but in the meantime, the first post is edited with the current raw URL.

Wow, looking good.
Though I'd cut Lidl as they only have cycling accessories on occasion.
And add Clerkenwell Screws just because they're ace.

Nice map!
Also Mend-a-bike in Fulham has just set up a shop on the New King's Road to add to their mechanics workshop off Munster road. Great place! -

The map is now on the navbar or just get to it via:
http://www.londonfgss.com/shops.htmlWell done mattty.

Thanks very much Velocio.
If anyone has ideas for improvements (e.g. colour code shops by repute), shout away. Any additions, stick em on there.
-
• #65
How about two colour coding systems:
Blue = Independent bike shops.
Red = chain bike shops.Darker colour for higher quality/more repute/etc.
Lighter colour for less quality/lower repute/etc.Simple and effective... if it's a dark colour it will stand out, and you'll be able to see whether it's a chain shop or independent and set your expectations accordingly.

I've added, er, a few... maybe another 50 or so. Can't believe Holdsworth hadn't been done yet!
-
• #67
Just had really great service from Mosquito on Essex road N1. Check em out.

This is a great idea. Thanks for the foresight. Good Work. J.

What about http://www.bikeworks.org.uk/ ? Is that a shop?
Also that used bike shop in Elephant and Castle. can't remember the name ...
-
• #70
elephant and castle: "re-cycled" I think?
Not vouching for their quality, never actually been in it.
-
• #71
quite pricey as far as I remember from the one time stepping in there ... but hey, they are a bike shop!
-
• #72
Feel free to add to the map. I have noticed a few duplicates on there which I need to strip out.
-
• #73

I had an interesting experience with re-cycle at Elephant/Castle. guy did a great job of stitching me a new rim on an old hub. bit cheaper than other places and no spokes broken after 6 months. eclectic selection of 2nd hand bikes too.
Am I forum blind or is Condor left out?
