Maybe. Some sub 50 minute laps needed now for the 500, but with a PB so far out of sight he might just cruise round and manage the gap.

What is the course like compared to his last 24hr? Presumably flatter, but with no traffic assistance. Windy according to twitter.

That says that Meurig has done an 18 minute lap, seems a bit suspicious

Looks as though either timing has gone odd or James has overtaken him???

Must be a mistake in there... those numbers don't make sense. An 18:55 lap for Meurig and both on the same average speed but Meurig 18miles up??
