I'll have my Zipp Vuka Alu setup for sale soon if anyone's interested here? Base bar, clips, 10mm risers and USE 20mm carbon extensions, got a 9spd Dura Ace bar end shifter I could include as well.

are the extensions ski or S bend?

20 degree. Been chopped a bit but should be ok for anyone with regular sized arms. Third from bottom in this picture:

Hmm - cheers, think I want 30 degree looking at those.

I can't remember... do your clips mount above the bars or below the bars?
Annoyingly when I bought mine, I got the 'over' version but I messed up my stack height calculations and even with everything slammed I can only just get as low as my previous set up.

Above. Pista stem?

yeah that would be the easiest option, and the one I'll probably experiment with if I ever end up doing some aero testing. However, I'm using the bike for IM Wales next year which has lots of climbing so I'd like the option of keeping the base bar in a slightly higher and therefore more relaxed position.

Hounslow 27 Cancelled
Roadworks still in place this afternoon, and predicted to be there at least until Monday.
So that's both my events for 2014 destroyed by roadworks.

@clubman which gives you plenty of time and mojo to work on the "a hard day in January" http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/140570/?offset=475

Bristol South CC hillclimb today - 111 on the start list.
Won be a considerable margin (40secs or so) by Tejvan... he managed 6.57 - which is only 5 secs of the (his) course record.
I managed an 8.35 over the 2 miles and looking at the data averaged around 320W, so approx 5w/kg - TP data here in case anyone is bored enough to have a look: http://tpks.ws/LutI
@Borek did an 8.00 and @TDOdan did an 8.24(?)iirc - who also took the team prize for the WestDC HC season (with Christina from BSCC)
An awesome event as ever, well worth making the trek over to Bristol for next year :)

Great work guys and such an awesome day. Stuck to 65" in the end and managed 8.25.5. Hurt like hell and from looking at my HR I couldn't have done much more!
Thanks god its the end of season so I can relax and bit in prep for next year. Heading to SQT at Newport most weeks to keep things ticking over!
Good luck to those heading up to The Nationals

2014's not over yet. http://24hrworlds.com
I'm only racing this because tester said he'd 'raced' more miles than me. Then Vegas is getting the hippy treatment.

Congratulate me
ifwhen I win it. -

A "Post-race Banquet" you say....
-
• #7721
I don't know about the race organisers but I've already gone through gmaps and starred all the breweries and steak houses within 400 miles of Vegas.
-
• #7722
Good luck mate.
Some pretty lolz setups in those photos. You're going to look pro-as-fuck by comparison.
-
• #7723
Yanks don't really seem to get aerodynamics. See also, pro triathlon.
-
• #7724
All that money on wheels etc ... and you get: normal helmets, hybrid height clips ons, baggy jerseys, road bikes. Weird.

If nothing else, I recon you'll win your age category...
No probs Chris, let's hope for some good news Friday evening!
