Yup. Just stuff it in. Unzipp suit, place it on chest, pull suit together and zip up. Fits fine. Then stuff 7 gels in there too, plus a flapjack bar.
I wear a baselayer, so it keeps the plastic off my skin.No issues with it at all, great system.

It was funny being re passed by all the people I'd smashed passed earlier.
Cringe. -

If you can race two days after what you consider a 'bender' then you have not truly participated in god's gift of the bender.
If you return home after three days, one of which was spent in A&E you have achieved bender status.
Yes, I'm a burden on your health system. Suck it up.

I was whispers running. Did walk past the signs on my way to the race though, but saw noone.

We've all been there. Hounslow 100, laying on the roadside stretching my destroyed glutes - a strong look...
Ooh, I've now officially taken <1hr off my first 100mi time.
-

I guess there's one way to find out. I think I'm too fat for the chest mount though - might have to try stuffing it down my back.
-
• #13558
thought not!
oh well, hopefully the fact there is a fast 12hr race that day means I've got a shot at getting in, plus hopefully the hype around 100s has died down by then!

And tick that reserve button :)
-
• #13560
haha, yes, will do this time rather than emailing the organiser saying id like to be one!
-
• #13561
Maybe do postal and slip an extra £20 in there, with a little note!
-
• #13563
Which email? I didn't notice. I did complain about their confirmation emails being full of user details - users know their details, they don't need to be emailed out!
I know, you can thank me for protecting your privacy in a small way with beer.

I'll have a cold beer waiting in canakkale.
This weekends API
Its a breach of CTT data protection. I emailed organiser back to tell him to use BCC. (Politely)
https://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/articles/view/34
Note: To comply with CTT Data Protection Policy, Start sheets, when emailed, should be sent using the BCC function, thus avoiding distribution of personal email information

API? I'm racing the BDCA 50.
-
• #13566
Yeah. Sorry, when I said did you complain, I meant past tense about a previous event?
As I know you spoke about the online calendar but could't recollect if you'd brought up non use of BCC. -

Yes, certainly a bit of a surprising uniformed backlash.
-
• #13568
lol TTforum in "uninformed rant" shocker ;)

uniformed backlash
At least wearing uniforms make the idiots easier to recognise from a distance :-)

I don't think so mate. One or two planks who know nothing about the internal struggle of trying to be a low level pro.
Good on her for following her heart and doing what she wants that's best for her. -

A50/6 - anyone got any comments about the course?
@umop3pisdn you've ridden it haven't you? Looks like ride along, climb something, descend something, turn off the main bit, come back out there finish where you started.
I guess I'll need to save some beans for the 150m "hill"?
-
• #13572
Is that the BDCA? Its pretty much fast from what I can remember. The 'hill' was fine on 100". Dog leg is a bit slower, but not by much.
It's a loud course.

I emailed the orga earlier for the Hounslow open on 17th as the trains from London don't get in till 9.20 on a Sunday morning. He said they'd count back in order of speed from 10am so doubtful I'll get a place.
Maybe someone will be driving..

Cheers - AeroCoach can provide a fair bit of support, the only thing we can't offer is a full roster of UCI team mates but she has invites as a guest rider to UCI races this year, so that's still happening anyway (not that people on the TT forum have read the article and realise that ...).
Fingers crossed for a good result on Thursday and Sunday (along with Lydia Gurley, our Irish pro rider).

I'm looking to start TTing soon and am also in E7. And have a car. Which one are you looking at doing?
Could team up...
You could've rolled to the finish and probably still got some prize money!
