Yes, I need to calm down a bit.
:P
-
• #13453
LOL can't have it all huh.
Still not sure how putting out watts at 6am is going to go.
-
• #13454
I'm going out at .84% FTP
Seems unambitious. I'd try for at least 1.00% :-)
-
• #13455
Always there to catch me! ha
-
• #13456
Haven't you just done a load of maths exams too?
-
• #13457
Yes. Lets hope I paid more attention in them, than typing!
-
• #13458
At least it's not 5:25 :P
I'm not going to race the 10 since it's in the afternoon and I'd basically be warming down from that and at the same time warming up for the 100!
I'll likely be skipping a warmup and just hoping the slower start leaves me a bit more in the tank for a fast finish.
-
• #13459
haha
-
• #13460
If my recent experience of a 6.21am start is anything to go by, not well. But as I've said before, I'm not a morning person.
-
• #13461
I like early starts. Means you can actually do something with your day afterwards. Off at half 3 at Tring so that's the whole day gone for a 10!
-
• #13462
You can have my start time.
So my 2x30s@100mi power turned into 1x20@100mi power and drinking until the missus passed out.
Polska!

And that was clearly the tipping point for the sinus thing to engage fully. Arse.
Still, I'll make up for complete physical meltdown with a new wheel...
Unfortunately
ZippShit Speed Weaponry haven't got me my 808 back so I'm running an old front wheel. -
• #13464
Nice! Is that Turbo Cotton?
-
• #13465
red label suggest yes.
6 hours in and my bike is nearly in a working state, just the rear brake inner to push through!
felt don't supply aftermarket bars with the cable guides they do on new framekits, which has slowed the whole process down, di2 is wonderfully plug and go though!
-
• #13466
Yep
-
• #13467
I've found gear cables and cotton thread the best to get internal wiring through.
Also spokes to pull stuff. That and swearing.
-
• #13468
haha, that has been exactly my process! swearing first though, then cotton, then more swearing, and then spokes.
I cut the brake outer this morning and it then slipped back inside the bars, so im going to have to go again at that one!
-
• #13469
Yeah. When I got bored of swearing I got the dremel out.
Shots were fired. -

Has anyone managed to successfully get added to an event after the closing date following the CTT site upgrade?
Emailed the organiser 2 days after closing. The field isn't full, but he's unable to add me because of the new site...
-
• #13471
its very computer says no, there isn't even a way to edit your entry post entering to say you'll be a reserve...
-
• #13472
have nailed it now, just setting up of brakes, wrapping the bars, putting on all the cable covers and a test ride to do!
I may do this all again next week to change the extensions, but I don't want to adjust my position just before a 100!
-
• #13473
I don't want to adjust my position just before a 100!
Been there, done that.
-
• #13474
Has he published the SS yet? If not then surely should be possible the same way as a postal entry.
-
• #13475
Nope, and I offered to submit a paper entry and even pay via bank transfer to speed it all up. Meh
Pressures a bit high.
