No sign of my Zipp so looks like I'll be running my old S80 for the 100. Means I have to remember to change the brake pads too. Stupid bloody Zipp.

They don't .
We are not even allowed to place a sign there. -

Didn't have time to mess with drink bladders.
Not sure where I can put the missus for handups on the course (bottom turn sliproad maybe).Reckon I am likely to do myself a disservice if I only use a single 500ml bottle for the 100?
It's only going to be 9-14degC in the morning. -

Stick a 1ltr bottle on and I'd risk it.

Use one of the lay-bys or use the petrol station turning near fourwentways you could ride in there, slow a little and then grab bottle.
Or actually use the turning at the east end, it's a dead right give way turn. So you'll be crossing he bridge real slow anyway, so won't lose time getting handup there. -

slow a little
Out.

Yeah, I think one of the turns is the best option. I think that might be the same turn we used in the 30. I'm sure I came to a dead stop there.

Never used 1L in the cage - wouldn't want to lose it.
Also, missus might get bored if I don't give her something to do :)

DT or BTA? Mine (BTA) made some real efforts to escape in the Hounslow 100 but I managed to grab it.
Irwin did the Anfield 100 in 3:42 without a drink.

Mine is behind the saddle.
I had to move my bars closer - not for aeroz unfortunately (I test faster with them wider), just because I bend all the arm rests I have and I didn't want them letting go!Did Irwin mention that? How do you know he didn't have helpers and was just throwing bottles?

camelback down the front of your skinsuit works fine - I tried it for a hill reps session a couple of weeks ago as I figured getting out the saddle and sitting up to brake would be a decent stress test.
once its in place there isn't really anywhere for it to go.
get a small one and cut the tube as short as you dare, put 1l in there to keep it small and then have a normal bottle on in your holder, should be enough (or at least that's what my plan is)

I have an mtb camelbak bladder I could test but it's getting a bit late in the day to be pissing about.
Though, as it stands I'll be running different cranks, powermeter, wheels and brakes and think I'll struggle to sit down for the whole 100 so fuck it, maybe I'll try it out. :)

Remember kids: don't do 'new' things on race day... mwuahahahahahahahahaa

I was pretty impressed I had no saddle issues in my 100.
I mean I was sore after, but during none.:)

It's not the 100mi so much as the 600k I did last weekend.
I'm less beaten up than I thought I'd be but that's probably because the climbs were so fucking hard I was standing up for most of the ride!

I think I've finally found the holy trinity in my saddle/chammois combo.

I've got spies

You can probably get something for that. Pharmacies are quite discreet.

Shit. I'm going to be annoyed if I fuck this up.
I also need to find my 808.. and find my tyres.. and my drink system and remember how to ride a 100mi TT again. I can't even remember what power I would typically hold so I need to find that too. Argh!

I'm going out at .84% FTP and suffering like a dog.

I'm going to see what I've done in the past.. then try to beat it.. then realise I'm nowhere near strong enough... then get upset... then get angry... then fail terribly... then claw it back when I redo some calculations in my head... then miss the club record by 45 seconds because I spent too long talking myself out of riding.

I'll probably wack Avg Spd on so I can see how far above/below the record I am. Not sure if that's going to help or hinder but one way to find out...
@danb Just when I was planning on resting up for the weekend and not riding...! Might have to get out there now. It would be a good way to wish him a happy 40th ;-)
