Very sorry to hear this. Terrible news

If others, particularly velcro, are in agreement, it might be a nice idea to hold a memorial ride that has a stop at the junction in question?

mashton, might want to give the memorial ride, if it does occur, a bit of time...
velcro, my condolences, as others have said, words aren't really adequate at this dark time. But I hope our words and support are some comfort.

Horrible news. Of course I would never have written what I did if I knew this prior to posting it.
Can't even imagine to begin to feel how you feel. Such a tragic and awful event. I am so sorry if my comment has made you feel any worse. My thoughts go out to you.

God, reading that has shocked me. You have my sincerest sympathy.

mashton, might want to give the memorial ride, if it does occur, a bit of time...
Definitely.

• #71
yea i can only repeat what others have said and give you my sincerest condolences.

And just for the record, my comment was not actually supposed to be a joke, because there is nthing funny about people getting injured, let alone dying.
My point was serious. I remember reading how most HGV incidents are women clinging to the curb up the inside - 'when will they learn' to me means, what can be done in the future to prevent this from happening? How can we get through to this group of people?
Anyway, not the time or place for this discussion.

sincere condolences to you and yours.
If others, particularly velcro, are in agreement, it might be a nice idea to hold a memorial ride that has a stop at the junction in question?
i had not met you both but would gladly join a memorial ride that would not only celebrate the life of somebody that loved to ride but also highlighted the fact to motorists that we are vulnerable on our two wheels. count me in please.

Paul Michel, your right not the time or the place for that discussion, my advice for what its worth, pm those that took issue and explain why you said what you said, for now just leave it alone.

clicked on this thread expecting to read about icy roads and a grazed elbow not a fatality.
condolences to you and her family.
treasure your memories of her.
I must add my condolances, for the forum it has been a long time coming for someone it knows to be killed, and the news today is shocking.
I don't know you Velcro, but my heart goes out to you and your girlfriends families at this time.
Much love
