Which part of "bakery" and "it wasn't specifically a pie issue" did you not understand?
Pie and Bakery
Greggs serve SHIT. That's the end of matters.
Think otherwise and it just reinforces my belief that the English are born without taste buds :P
Greggs is a welsh gift to the English, hence the level of hatred and amount of disrespect served up in those little fat-laden squalors of Evil.
As for Taste buds, it was the English who invented Taste buds sonny boy, along with sex, tomatos and paper -

Just got back from Morrison's where my search for vegetarian pies was fruitless. So it's quiche (or "Poofter's Pie" as it's known in Wigan) for me this lunchtime. The side dish of Organic beetroot probably doesn't do much for my northern credentials either.
the linda mccartney veggie pies are ace!

Everybody who has said that "Greggs does not serve pies" is a clearly London-centric oppressor of the proud Celtic race. Nothing wrong with that, I might add.
FACT - Greggs serve pies in Scotland.
1) They serve the ungodly (though delicious) "Scotch Pie", which is basically a pastry-wrapped lump of spongy grey material cooked in hot grease.
2) They also serve "Macaroni Pies". These are fairly self-explanatory and also surprisingly tasty for something that costs <£1.
