It's my buddy Whatever's Seta - he is squeezing 25 on front and possibly 28c rear I'm quite sure.

Ah nice, I'm thinking about an alpina on mine but it's just more money to spend.
Unless someone fancied a swap. -

Unless someone fancied a swap. There could be some sense in a LARGER frame asks for LARGER rake (trail) - but i don't know shit. Road fork on my Pre-Cursa and doesn't feel much different than my DF3 with Alpina Wing fork fwiw.

I don't particularly see why, I think it's compensated for in the HT angle of larger frames, I really want to tighten it up though because as is it feel like really relaxed almost road geo.

could barely get a 25c in mine, like 1mm clearance with a worn 25c

• #770
here's mine with a 28

Manufacturing variations?
Could be a matter of axel diameter too, if one is skinnier it will sit higher up in the fork. -

Which tyres?

I purchased a Zoncolan for my Pre Cursa today because I've always thought they look fun... There is a version called a 'Zoncolan Triathgel' that I can't find any information about, but they're half price at £25 on CRC at the moment. Thought it was worth a go at that price :-)
