£199 for a frame, carbon bladed fork, headset, seat clamp and seat post is cheap whatever way you look at it.
How much would that lot need to be to be considered cheap? -
• #3303
99 cents!

It's cheap.
So much so I use it as my polo bike. Crashed 2 into the fence/wall and cracked the frame and just bought my third cos they're cheap and easily replaced. #csb #nocycletraining #i<3walls

This thread has been brought to my attencion and i would like to assure everyone that we have rectified this issue re truative/ sram omnium crankset , it was caused by the chainstay being cut to close to the bb shell which meant were the bend moves out to allow tyre clearance the outside is closer to the crankset which causes problems for some chainsets ,we have now rectified this and hopefully our 2017 batches will be universally compatable , for the customers that have had this issue we have either offerd a refund or free upgrade to the TC1 , I hope this goes some way to explaining this issue and thank everyone for their input .

Excellent news, and kudos for coming on here with that clarification (and for offering the latter resolution, for those affected). Many thanks.

:D They're only off by +7mm which is within manufacturing tolerances

How much faster can you go with a rack on Ned?
-
• #3314

Wut? This doesn't make sense.
Are you saying the chain stays on the new pre-cursa's were all cut too short? an error when being built at the factory?
-

The bend that creates tyre clearance ended up being too close to the BB, but additional length at the other end of the tube will mean the finished frame's 'chainstay length' is the same.
So yes, an error at the factory.
The same tube will be used on various frames for Dolan, and for other brands who use the same factory. Once formed, they'll be trimmed and shaped at each end to suit each model of frame.. -

I hate to tell you but that's way off.
European Standard is 3mm maximum.

Anyone using a tc1 on the street? Any evidence of cracking like the old track champs? Need a new frame set... Had a 60cm pre C for ages and think the tc1 geo will suit me better because stupid long tt on the PC

Is anyone with a 52cm Pre Cursa able to do me some as accurate as possible reach / stack measurements? Mostly bothered about the reach.
Easiest way to do it is back wheel against the wall, measure wall > centre of BB, measure wall > centre of head tube, subtract one from the other. Same for stack but vertically using the floor as zero point.

reach 398
stack 512 -

What are you inputting to get that?
Inexpensive but not cheap!
Probably imported from eastern but where do you think Dosnoventa and Cinelli come from?? :)
Stop saying it's a cheap track frameset because it not cost 500£+...
