frankly, it's only a tiny logos on the top tube really, beside it's mostly the ride I'm interested in (and the fact it got lug, flat crownded fork, fluted seat stay... etc.).

beside maybe in a couple of year I'll send it off to get it repainted in a completely different paintscheme, says very 1970 italian world champion track style? (silver with world champion stripe on seatstay etc.).

plus it's coming in 3 weeks, and because it's a different design to the standard one, I assumed it's likely to take longer for a non-BLB one.

just put down a deposit for the Bob Jackson/BLB one, cripe! (awful BLB logos I know, but it's a nice frame with track geometry for the money).

that'll be a frame for life defintely.

I don't have a permanent job, I do occasional job such as painting a house, building fences, etc. pretty much general DIY for men who's now the kind who put cream on their hand than cutting wood in half.

The downside is that I don't have a fixed salary, sometime I get decent cash, sometime not enough, after all deaf people are made for grunts work.

Ed you should order it direct from BJ without the BLB logo and shit paint combo. The old lugged frame deserves better than white. Do it.

I've gone for French Blue enamel with quite a few little chrome bits. I wish I had ordered a flat crowned fork but I could always add at a later date. I emailed them to add champion stripes to the order but it went to their spam box so I'll have to add them myself.

Condor's full custom frames are brit built - at least my lugged 631 one was.....not sure who they use tho....

I asked for a Baby Blue enamel similar to this Colnago and they said they had French Blue Enamel which was a little bit lighter than that.

It's quite a bit darker though although my photo doesn't show it that well. Somewhere along the lines they've got my colour wrong. Really not sure what to do.

fuck me Whizz, that is a gorge frame. the head angle is rather relaxed no? will they do them with JUST the headbadge and no down/seat tube decals? How much extra for the polished headtube lugs/fork crown/chainstay?

If you could do a little breakdown of the costs, including delivery and turnaround time, I'd really really appreciate it.

No I can't bad mouth them because it's beautiful and they've done a good job. But somewhere along the lines there's been a mix up and it's not the colour I asked for; it's more of a RAF Blue. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me now.
