How dirty is your bike right now?

mine is so bad people have offered to clean it

what about the bike though?

cleaned it on saturday, after about a month. it was salty.

Cleaned it 10 days ago, rode to work and back for 5 or so of those days, then went on a 65 mile ride to broxbourne and back, down canal paths with muddy puddles and general muddiness, it is FILTHY, if it wasn't already brown, it would be brown. I came back worse than i've come back from mountainbiking trips before.

Bloody winter!

Chain was running louder than a fucking loud thing too.

I've decided not to bother cleaning the chain on my commuter now. It's too far gone and more hassle than it's worth. I'm just going to replace it and the sprocket come spring (if it lasts that long). Pisses me off - Only washed the damn thing (really well) last Saturday.

i haven't cleaned my bareknuckle since summer, i like it like that, less nickable.

Cleaned today, put on better wheels, new chain, and some hideous bar tape.

Destroyed a new headset, didn't think it would be too bad. Rode it, had a little cry. Now I want to kick some cats

WD40 on the chain? are you trying to kill it so that you can get a new chain?

f00k me I need to get my winter bike sorted

Just de-greased my drivetrain for the 1st time this winter.... Fucking disgusting. Found some leaves stuck round the sprocket and shards of glass in the gloopy marmite enveloping the chain.

Just cought my bike looking at pron on the net. filthyh fuk

A few more days of this +salted roads, and I dread to think.

I love cleaning my bike. Not a weekly thing but there's something satisfying about having a cleanish bike, expecially if it's your roommate.
