  • My Cloudwater delivery arrived today and I'm enjoying this one "From Mountains Rivers Flow", hoppy.

  • Finally opened the Little Earth Project Brett.

    It's very nice.

  • Just saw this today on my essential shop, hate buying from supermarkets but this is ridiculously good for the cash.

  • I really wanted this, but I already had a box from them earlier this month and I'm trying to spread my cash around all the independents I like.

  • Whoever said that the Flavourly stuff is a little uninteresting, I'd probably agree with them. Everything is perfectly drinkable, particularly with the weather as it is now, but nothing has leapt out at me yet.

  • Supermarkets seem to of really upped their game recently. Morrisons and Tesco are doing a good selection of ale now.

Of course if you aren't in the Big Smoke then Booths have a great range of local Northern brewery cans and bottles.

  • It was the warm-up act to this Barley Wine, which is proving to be a very nice 11%er.

  • Cloudwater are offering 25% off online with an nhs.net e-mail address, should anyone be in that position.

I find that I'm in Deya's free delivery radius, though they're very low on stock - one beer only right now.

  • They're Steady Rolling Man was just the ticket over the sunny bank holiday. I've ordered some Glue which sounds pokey and delicious

  • Glue's the one in stock. I really like their porter, Spoonful. The brewery tap is next door to the train station too, which is very convenient!

I've an order coming from Salt, so now spent up for the month. Colin at Salt is ex-Marble/Black Isle/Buxton/Northern Monk. I hold him personally responsible for my taste in beer.

  • I'm still going through the dozen I got last week. SRM and the #3 yesterday for lunch.

Also ordered a Deya x Brewdog sour collab last night.

  • Have you been to the Tap at Saltaire? Just up the road from me.

The place is huge and in a lovely old tramshed.

  • I've not, but it and the pizzeria both look great. Hope to go once travelling again.

I've been to Saltaire Brewery tap before, which is less grand but charming.

  • It's a good canal bike ride for me but not the biggest place. Great during summer when you can sit outside and wobble back to Leeds after one too many...

  • No.

Beer52 never fucking stop emailing you once they have your details.

Took 6 months for them to fuck off after I'd cancelled my subscription despite me emailing them / hitting 'unsubscribe' every week.

  • I use unique emails for everything that is remotely 'sign up' like so even if they didn't respond to the unsubscribes, spam listing, GDPR SAR requests, etc. I could still very easily block them myself.

  • Brewdog NEIPA is not terrible. Brewdog Lost Lager is worse than terrible.

  • Yeah, not into the lager but if you've been smashing IPAs and stuff for months most lagers taste like pish to be honest. I'm quite into the hazy stuff BD are doing (OG Hazy, Hazy Jane and whatever the other one is). Just ordered another BD box because a fridge full of beer isn't enough...

  • Northern Monk have teamed up with Aunt Bessie's to make 'Sunday Roast' and a 'Jam Roly Poly' beers...

  • 2 weeks late, Shirley?

  • This is like when those hipsters opened the breakfast cereal cafe isn't it?

waits for brewery to be graffed

  • Sold out sadly. There more off the wall beers have been decent generally
