Chimay Blue. I usually avoid Chimay but there wasn't much else available at Waitrose.

I've got a batch of homebrew IPA starting up this afternoon.
I've assisted my Dad doing a few brews before over the last few years, but never done one myself properly. Exciting times!

On the menu tonight, St Peters Best Bitter, Bombadier, and Breakspears Oxford tripple! Great stuff!

Just got back from a trip to Northern California. Seems like every decent size town there has a (micro)brewery. Apart from the ubiquitous Sierra Nevada and Anchor Steam Beer, I got into a few from the Stone Brewing Co.
Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale 7.2%
my personal favourite the Sublimely Self Righteous Ale 8.7%
and Ruination IPA 7.7%Bit of a theme there

Ruination is amazing, unlike anything I've tasted before.

Went to [st]an[/st]The Indian the other night where they stocked this:
Decent stuff. Goes well with the spices.

Drank 6 pints of this at the weekend:

Went to sleep, dreamt I was being sick, woke up and was sick.
VERY nice ale though, hoppy and light and extremely drinkable. Great one for the summer.

Had some of that on tap on Friday night. Was really disappointed as it didn't taste anywhere near as good as when I'd had it before from a bottle.

Good Ale pubs around Clerkenwell way (+ a couple of miles)? Bree Louise is good for selection, but wish to try somewhere new.

Bishops Mitre and the Jerusalem Tavern. The latter is the St Peter's brewery's only pub.

Kelpie now in big bottles in my local grocers, it is great. Also Dunham Massey bottled ales in the off licence - chocolate cherry mild can't be wrong...
Tonight enjoying Bare Arts brewery Imperial Stout, 7.2% but very tasty despite the strength.
I saw Modelo and left the page.
Went in to the supermarket the other day and they seem to be running down on Belgian brews. Only grabbed some Triple Karmeliet and Chimay Blue. All the other good stuff was in larger bottles but I only want stubbies. Aren't I the picture of moderation..
