Because I needed (we needed) kebabs.
Because there is a Polish supermarket opposite my grilled lamb emporium of choice.
Because there was no beer in the fridge.
Zywiec Bock.
Very Moorish dark lager inna-can. Very nice with a kebab.
Realised I'm now a bit squiffy. Also realised the sneaky Polack brew is bloody 6.5% abv.

That would be a beer for ladies and school children in Belgium. ;)
Try the 'Mocne' "mots-nee" (strong) beers.

I didn't realise I'd not actually had it before. I have a bottle but I've only had the Heaven Hill BA version. Stock was loverly.

Long day, this is the lowest abv bottle I've got. Appreciating ahead of food.

Delirium is the only Belgian beer I don't like and I can't put my finger on why
This is far too fucking easy to drink for 10%. Raspberries, Saki yeast and sorachi ace.

The over-ripe banana on cheap white bread taste p'raps?
BSB looks & sounds good.

Yes Hanging Bat, I am looking forward to being there when in Scotland for New Year.
Thought you didn't get on with Sorachi?

I don't normally but like both this one and Weird Beard's cranberry stout. Think I just don't like it in paler beers.
I'm going to be in the other half of the berry saki bastard collaboration on new years, Buxton.

Squark Bean Brothers Espresso Stout and Blackjack The Pokies last night. I enjoyed the Espresso Stout, but it wasn't really one that you could drink much of. Didn't really like The Pokies. I had a pint of Blackjack's Four of a Kind the other day and The Pokies had the same problem; they both had an odd, slightly dirty, taste.

pure hipster spice:
The Lost Rivers Brewing Co. are a new brewery company who required a complete brand suite. At this stage we have completed a brand identity, some beer lenses and a holding page however it's a live project so plenty more to come shortly. Already leaving their mark in some of London's best loved establishments they are now creating more of their own quality craft ales such as the Moselle and Neckinger, named after London's 'lost rivers' hence their name 'The Lost Rivers Brewing Company. Aswell as focusing on the brewing world they aim to align themselves with some of the most influential artists and musicians via festivals, exhibitions and major cultural events. Watch this space...

I'm currently avoiding beer... so i'm fucking bored.
But can't be arsed going out to a pub. Should I just cane all my home beer?

Should I just cane all my home beer?
Won't it become too sugary that way? :)

It's how I convert all my beers into Belgian brews.
Fixed.
