Forgot my log in so unable to profer best wishes on that forum.
I figured that it was unlikely to be another guy calling himself Fixedwheelnut on the interwebs
Oh, I see, I thought he'd been bumped off YACF. Get better soon, FWN.
That forum looks so messy, I'm really grateful for the clean LFGSS design.

My brother brewed a load of ale, bottle conditioned. Bottled them up, cracked a couple open... rancid. Binned all but a few bottles, which he stuck on a shelf. Six months later they're moving house, finds a bottle, cracks it open out of curiosity.... it's bloody lovely! FAIL.

http://www.breadandrosespub.com/menu.aspx?menu=Bottled%20BeerGreat finds! I love the header "The mystery of the two Brooklyn India Ale bottles in an alley near our house has been solved." Must make my way there and Old Street to treat myself for xmas.
Might fancy a post work soiree down to the Bread and Roses soon. Perhaps we should organise a "boutique beer ride" Porterhouse? Rake? Are there more famed for world beers?

I used to manage the bar of one of Adnam's flagship pubs, up here in Suffolk, and the bitter really is the best going, but yuletide is absolute shit. So if fireside. It's all about tally ho this time of year, and broadside or bitter the rest of he year. Ol ale is pretty good around October, and the oyster stout is lovely in the spring.
Adnams beers don't travel very well though. If you want to get the good stuff you need to come to Suffolk. If you want to organise a ride up here, I good probably hook some of you up with a brewery tour and tasting session.

You can get all varieties of Anchor beer from Quaffs, they used to have a stall in Spitalfields, but they're online only now. Yeah thanks shitty chain restaurants opposite, naming no names (Canteen, Leon, etc)

Anchor Steam is being stocked at some Tesco and Sainsburys.... if they do stock it - the chances are they'll have Blue Moon and Sierra Nevada, which are both quite a decent brew.

All the details are on the poster at the bottom of the page I linked to. It is open from noon. By the time I get there yesterday, some of the ale heads were looking a little worse for wear. Also, a big shout out for Colin, the bearded head of 'security.' Someone pinched my glass when I nipped out for a fag. I had left it under the watchful gaze of the chap on the door. Colin was summoned, bemoaned the glass nickery of some types at such an event then kindly marched me upstairs to get me another glass for free. Much appreciated.

Honker's AleVery good. Now please number the list, insert links to everything, stick it in the OP of the 'definitive list of beers and ales' thread and do regular maintenance on it. ;)

I quite like Yuletide myself and Tally Ho is pretty awesome too.. I'm originally from Suffolk so was doing some pining by posting that in here. I'll be back for the festive period though so can sample the delights.
Which pub did you manage?
As for organising a ride there, how about sorting something for after the Dunwich Dynamo next summer?

OTTER ALE IS the GOD of all Beers.
I will be bringing some back after Xmas, if anyone wants anything let me know and i can do a proper order.
My folk's house is there.Xmas day cycling in the Blackdown Hills.
epic.
I am sure "Utobeer" sells Anchor Steam Beer. They have a stall in Borough Market and a bar, The Rake, just around the corner.
If you are London based, have a look. I try not to go too often as it normally costs me way too much
