I'd like to buy a couple of mini kegs in London for Christmas Day as the in laws liked the Adnams ones I took to them a couple of years ago. Do any London based breweries make Mini Kegs and could anyone on here reccomend something / somewhere?

Five points do, they have their best bitter in mini keg

I think Sambrooks do them for a lot of their beers as well. I’d go for the Five Points Best though as it’s probably my favourite go to beer these days. If you’re not a bitter drinker though Sambrooks have a few others available

You might struggle a little there. The pandemic put paid to them for many brewers. I know Signature ain’t put anything in mini keg for a long while. Kernel don’t. Gipsy Hill we’re selling them but are sold out right now. Maybe try some of the bigger online beer shops to see what stock you can still nab?

I was told by Five Points in late Oct that they’re not doing casks. If you google it, there’s a message they don’t, but seems as though you can add to basket - I’d be wary about getting charged/refunded.

I went for a keg from Joseph Holt but it took an age to turn up, although maybe there’s an express delivery.

Ah that’s a shame about the Five Points. Checked the Sambrooks site and they look to have all of there’s available in 5L and some at 10L and 20L at the moment.

Park brewery have some mini kegs, they are in the Kingston area ....

Five Points Best in a supermarket bottle is great

This is delicious, although not as big on the whisky after 730 days in barrel as the Around the Clock last night after 250 days.

These flavours come together a bit better. 18% too, hic.

Would love to try that. Sounds incredible.

The small amount of additional bottle fermentation meant the cork was self-extracting once the twisted wire retention was released.
