Since they're currently losing ground in the market share
Are they? There seem to be a lot of 2015 OTP bikes being advertised with Rival 22.

I can't see it personally. They've probably put as much into R&D as Shimano or Campag, if not more.
It'll be cheaper than Campag. I think the best we can hope for is that it pushes the cost of Di2 down.
5800 Di2 next year would be nice as well.

The wireless group with added wires?

Seemed like it to me - every bike I've looked at recently has Shimano. I should have said "it seems, based on my observation..."

I'm not sure how others ride, but I shift the FD down and RD up almost simultaneously, and vice-versa...

No chance. New tech always milks the spendy earlier adopters first.

Did they ever have any market share? Not that many pro teams use it but I think if anything SRAM is taking market share from Campag.

That's the only time I ever drop my chain but that's probably due to set up.
To be fair, with Di2, the front shifts are so quick that you can do it within a second without it actually pressing simultaneously - if you get what I mean.
The only thing that would make me change from Shimano to SRAM is that the chainsets look nicer.

The Sram appeal to me. Is taking the cool add-ons of Di2, sprint shifters, climbing buttons, shifters on Your road bar Clip-ons, shifters on the brake levers of Your TT bike etc. Then making them Wireless.
In a bid to remove all visible cables from their TT bike. Folk With Di2 are running half a dozen B Junctions and a few kilometers of extra wire.

This. Kinda. Shifting with a fractional delay.
I reckon in practice you just adjust and would be riding it intuitively after a couple of mins.
I wonder how FSA will work?

My 165mm Tiagra 4600 chainset is fantastic. It's like it's so good or whatever, that it's completely freed me from the crippling need to engage in constant displacement activity centred around an unceasing sensation that what I already have just isn't good enough.
Happiness is attainable. Happiness is a 165mm Tiagra 4600 chainset (or whatever you have now unless it's broken).

I occasionally browse the first page of 'Today' to see what's happening. I only exist in the moment (zen, fixed gear, niche cycling forums, etc.), and what I have at the moment is a Tiagra 165mm 4600 chainset, so I thought I'd share the magic.
If being a consumer is your main hobby, which it seems to be, you could do a lot worse than purchase my recommendation. I'm fully supportive of hobbyists. #quinlank

I think your'll find you are.
I'm looking forward to SRAMS iteration of e-shift and wireless. Since they're currently losing ground in the market share I wonder if they'd just put the new group on the market for extremely cheap in a bid to win people back. Wishful thinking?
