if you took the time you spend arsing abut with bikes or changing stuff and put that into riding or training, you'd realise that none of this shit matters.
Besides; don't you have di2 10 speed on your other bike? Why run two systems?

^ Well, if it has to be that contorted to slowly work your way to Campag then it has to be.
People only ever move AWAY from Campag, not towards it!

Oh. Amey. When I spoke to you on facebook I thought you were getting rid of the whole bike. Why are you changing from 6700 to 6800? I don't understand that. That really is silly. You're still not riding fast enough to warrant all these swag parts.
:-) Joking of course, do what you will, but that does seem like a pointless upgrade...

Well the cost for me to go current Rotor + 6700 + compact (i.e. swap rotor spider get rid of chainrings and get new chainrings) is same as getting compact 6800, thats the main reason but yeah I've heard its 110% better

^ I know but I bought 6700 in bits and never got crankset, I went rotor and there was no compact option for the money I wanted to pay then. I thought I could live with it but clearly cant ;)

Ah, not quite true. You got yours from Merlin didn't you? JE James were knocking out the compact versions for the same price. In fact, they still are.
That's where I got mine from. Didn't really make any difference to me, mind you, as I've replaced the spider with a P2M.

Yep saw that; there is one floating on ebay too (new) still selling everything and getting 6800 is cheaper mainly because 6800 is really cheap atm.

Rather than compact I'm going standard with a 12-30 block, makes more sense for my riding style and the terrain I ride... Not as aestheticly pleasing but doesn't bother me.

I thought going compact wasnt aesthetically pleasing ..

fuck you all, compact is awesome.
