yes.
tbh though UTFS. There are plenty of threads on this and articles on various websites. Most come to the conclusion that I gave you. Even the pros just ride what they are sponsored by as the quality difference between em all is negligable to non existent.
hmmm, most assuredly, why I came looking for "closer to the earth" experiences :P
how does one shift down on drops (ignoring the fact that being on drops is for more speed and not less ahah)
can you multi-shift on Campag (see what I've done there Mr B?)? -

Lol, that's legit!
Friction shift.
Had it on my Arabesque set, also have it on my DA 7200 on my Vitus
this would be for my more contemporary bike

Vintage shimano is better than vintage campagnolo.
Brand new Campagnolo is better than any shimano

Campagnolo sounds best to impress non-bike types.

Oh and the answer is always Shimano.
This ^
Sram - heavy gear change - light
Campag - awkward gear change - pretty
Shimano - light, easy, convenient, reliable gear change - less fashionable?

Just, no.

I've used Shimano on a hire bike and I have Campagnolo on my road bike. The Shimano was a bit plasticy and didn't have the feel of being connected to the gear changing process. My Campag set up feels like it wants to change gear when you tap the thumb shifters. It could just be my poor mechanical skills in setting it up but it feels like Campag has more "feel" and Shimano is more precise. Campagnolo looks sick.
