Jim, when I travel to London I use www.nxec.com and if you book early you can get some cheap deals. If you turn up on the day expect to pay lot's! also you need to book your bike on the train or they won't take it but you can do it online when you book your tickets.

Alas, no - I'm staying up there for the rest of the week. Very persuadable where next Monday's concerned though. Apparently it's going to snow and sleet all day, so I'll probably need a hot toddy or four to get me back up Tulse Hill.
