Bairstow doing much better than I thought. I don't think this bowling attack is capable of showing up his weaknesses.

Slow outfield and spin bowling makes for a dull watch. Good performance though. Don’t think I’ll bother getting up at 4.30 tomorrow.

when a mate called me on WhatsApp,
(yep I know, I have suggested he also downloads Signal).
Call finished and I brought the BBC Sounds to the front and clicked on the play button.
Didn't realise it had paused my coverage,
was expecting to have missed the intervening commentary,
so just enjoyed an 'as Live' finish to the day's play.
