Depends on the weather, a bit of drizzle over the next few days and it might reach Monday.
If it does then I'll look to go with the wife and MiniGB (5 years old, she's been to Lord's once, but she was only 6 months old).
It helps that BiL and FiL are MCC members, although there's no hint of Ashes tickets from them this year.

Sort-of srs question, would you actually want to go this summer? I would imagine it will be car-crash viewing

Always happy to go watch cricket whether we (England) are going to get humped or not. Having a bar there is a bonus.

I bought tickets for day 4 at the Oval at £80 a pop, won't be long before I wind up regretting it.
Whilst not a direct comparison the one T20 game between England/Australia in Cardiff starts at £30 and that includes a womens game beforehand.

I'm in Antigua on holiday at the moment. The aussie cricket team were having dinner on the table next to ours.
Didn't dare ask them to go easy on us in the coming months.

I would definitely have been laughed out of the restaurant.

Gah kinda tempted. But riding I guess

I'm going to be there with Mrs GB and Mini GB.
Under 16s free. What's to lose?
Going to be a fascinating day regardless.

Wish I'd popped down to Lords but wanted to watch the playoff final.
Dual screening though. Stokes showing he's the potential to be a bit of a cult hero. Corey Anderson hasn't given up yet though and is playing a brutish innings

Cracking day out. Heck of a place to watch cricket.

Also had everything you wanted from a test match; both teams really going for it with some entertaining cricket, excellent umpiring and most important of all played in the right spirits. Makes for a great test at Headingley.

Think the Friday was the worst day of the test... thank god for booze

Went yesterday - really enjoyed it, moved around and sat in 4 different places had a couple of pints and a burger, met an old friend with his family. Could hardly have been better.

MiniGB (5yo) absolutely loved it, she's now gripped by everything "Stokesy" does. I'm amazed she sat through the entire day without complaint.

Went to watch the presidents XI vs Australia today at the VRCG in Antigua. Free admission...Cant have been more than 40 people there:

The countries of the West Indies don't really do cricket anymore do they?

When Chris Gayle isn't really involved...

not really the test vs England were well attended, but to see Oz for free that is disappointing

To be fair, it was just a warm up game for the series itself....
There's barely any information about it online either.

Jimmy Anderson confirming his status as God like

He made the rain stop?

He needed to go inside for a cuppa
Part of me is hoping it can go to 5 days so I can maybe get a reasonably cheap ticket as I've not been to Lords, but I somewhat doubt it.
