  • No time for 50 over? Time for 5 days though?

    Fresh prince/Jarhead.

  • oh dear...

  • No time for 50 over? Time for 5 days though?

wasn't as busy then, plus you can dip in and out as it lasts so long.

  • true and 5 days has so much more complexity and subtlety so to me is much more satisfying than the 50 over slog-fests. (That sounds so snobbish!)

  • i'm not a big fan of one day cricket and its on for months!! but at least it gives the smaller nations a chance to mix it up with the big guns.. after watchng the doc about afghan team recently there is something special about this sport

don't suppose you have that? i could burn a copy or something? have been meaning to get hold of it

  • That was an amazing documentary. brings home how powerful cricket is to engage and compell people. Seems much more important in the sub continent than in the west

by the way, although the bbc daily highlights are on bbc2 at midnight or later, you can watch the same programme on red button any time from 10pm every evening. so on any day when there's been a good game, like today...

    powerful stuff.. wonderful documentary
    al

  • boycott's appearance the only blot on the picture.. lol

  • Why so?
    You don't like our Geoffry?
He has a good cricket brain and is straight tralking to the point of being abrasive... very entertaining

  • Boycott knows as much as anybody on the planet about batting, and from a batsman's point of view bowling. He's an utter twat who thinks he's funny (he's not and never has been), he was the ultimate self-obsessed batsman when he played too. His triumphant cackling during the last ashes was embaraassing to say the least. You never got that with FST.......
