Brilliant I now own a Fizik Vitesse for a fiver delivered! Thank you. I don't need it but I've got it.

Ordered the Merlin RS685 shifters and calipers for £250, then had a peek on bikeradar and saw someone had found them on sale at mantel for £142. Apparently someone's emailed them and confirmed it's for two shifters and two calipers and the part number matches the full set. Insane price. Cancelled my merlin order and bought them from mantel, along with the Ultegra chainset that's on deal as well.

Have they gone off there now? Can't see them

No worries, no real need for them to be honest - they'd just end up sat, waiting for when I finally get a road bike with discs (could be some time!).

Yeah, I've been thinking about building a disc roadie for a year or two, been waiting for the Kinesis 4S disc to come out and this has finally put my plan into motion. Just need to find a shop with the 63cm blue frame in stock (hopefully PBK at £520). Oh and buy some chinese clincher wheels :)

My cheap Evans cranks (see earlier in the thread) have been marked as despatched - but as a front light rather than the cranks and BB I ordered.

Yes, it was confirmed and my PayPal order showed cranks, but the despatch note has a light (with all the same codes as the confirmation). I've emailed them, let's see what happens.

Why does it meant to be best winter tights? I was looking for a quality winter tights. Is this one really the best?

I looked around and these have very good reviews - 9/10, 10/10 from road.cc and cyclingweekly. Meant to be comparable in quality with ones much more expensive (as most Sportful stuff is), but without the stigma of DHB...

I think 'best' just means warm without being restrictive, and with a decent pad. I've had to buy new ones because my legs have got so #swole that I can't fit into last year's tights any more. I had DHB ones last year and they were absolutely fine, but if you can get Sportful for about £15 more then it's a bit of a no-brainer to me.

Beware, I am 6 ft 5 and 90kg and require XXXL sportful (norain) tights. And they're still rather close fitting. So maybe order a size or two up.

Ah, thanks. I've ordered large based on wiggle commenters the same size as me ordering them. Can always return/sell on, it was just a bugger to find them in L!
