so it's two car threads now is it?
You're making this place banal with your banging on about cars.
go to a car forum and get it out of your system there, it's so tedious to see there are now two active car threads. Absolutely no need to have started another thread.

Look at the amount of bike threads on that car forum. If we are to make this solely a forum where we can talk about FGSS bikes, it's gonna be pretty boring as the majority of topics have been covered already, there will be the occasional post about a ride coming up, or someone asking for help where the response will be "use the search function" and as a result people will stop coming on here and it will no longer be of much use.

Bringing a "bike threads in a car forum" argument into it is mostly counterproductive to yourself as it might suggest cars weren't doing it for people even on their own forums. But I don't care about car forums really. Fixed bikes are still doing it for me really well on here thanks very much. Cars are cars are cars. Get over it if you're on this forum. One thread is really all you need to paste massive photos of lovely examples and even get nostalgic about the cars you've owned.
Really, it's lame and crap.

yeah, but this was a "cars you've owned" thread, but it's turning into another "car porn" thread...
FWIW i've owned three boring cars: a 1987 Corolla, a 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer, and a 1997 Subaru Liberty wagon (Legacy estate).
I love the subaru though, it's fricking awesome.

Don't quite follow the first bit, but if it makes you feel any better i'll keep my image posting to the other car thread.

Please accept my apologies. I must have posted in the wrong forum.
I have checked, and yes, you're right:
Miscellaneous & Meaningless:
Non-bike-related stuff in here only. That way those who want the bike stuff can choose to block this category and ignore the off-topic stuff.Sorry. You must think I'm some sort of fucking prick.

I guess the point is that anyone can start a thread on any topic as long as it doesn't duplicate another thread: so if this one is just a list of cars that people have owned, fine. But for general discussion of cars the other thread should be used.
I'm just jealous though because I thought I'd cornered the market in starting car threads. -

You'd be surprised, some of us don't see the attraction in stupidly expensive cars.
There's only one way to find out...FIIIIIGHT

Well of course I have to look before I can produce an opinion. I was surprised to see another car discussion.
I am pleased that you are now carless.
Oh and I added the ford fiesta because that was the last car that my dad owned.

you had a '67 bug as your first car? jealous what year did you buy it?
And for those who aren't into the whole lightweight/low power cars, there's the G50.
Makes it a little easier to forget TVR.
(Just a little, TVR shall never be replaced.)
