Just back, pretty drunk, but what a magnificent, uplifting day. No hope of meeting everyone there but just great to see Dancing James, Vee and Jay, Skully, Precise, 50/14, Shark, Cornelius, JImbilly, Hippy and many, many others. I spend all day riding those roads every week and I've never felt so happy doing it. Thanks so much to Teddy and to everyone who guarded corners and junctions.
Hope everyone's post-ride evening was as enchanting as mine. Next time anyone criticises the LFGSS they should look at this thread and realise what a wonderful place this is and how capable it is of putting on such joyous events.
cheers one and all -

That was the most spiffing day I've had in an age. Gold star to everyone for outfits, and gold medal to Teddy and the magniferous road guarders and direction givers.

I must says I'm not entirely surprise to see Ononelangster and his son in the ride! thought he dressed like a dodgy Frank Butcher.

Critical Mass should be replaced by Tweed Run, they served a MUCH better purpose than what Critical Mass originally should, after all I genuinely think it actually encourage quite a handful of people to cycles, showing them that they don't need to dress in lyrca tight, big expensive helmet, waterproof jacket etc. in order to just commute 2 miles to work.

Critical Mass at its height can attract more than 1,000 riders. Do you really think you can get them all into tweed? ;)
That such a good day. Wasn't really planning to come and decided last minute (apologies for not quite looking the part). So glad I went. Thanks everyone who organized this great ride.
