    Is there a prize for most laughable facial effort? I hope the wind isn't too strong on Saturday. Anything more than a stiff breeze and my tache would take flight

    just been out for a ride in my tweed outfit, to see how biking in tweed is.

    *some thoughts on a gentleman's first bicycle outing in tweed. *

    1. tweed is impressively warm
    2. tweed is also surprisingly itchy
    3. bicycling in brogues is not as easy as in trainers
    4. automobiles are more polite and much less aggressive towards you when you're in tweed
    5. it's nice to put a smile on people's faces

    1. bicycling in brogues is not as easy as in trainers


    it is if you dont have clips as your heel can act as a foot stop or wedge.

    thats why girls in heels on bikes have so much contol .............me thinks.

    my tweed will be restricted to waistcoat and cap. Moleskin and barbour ftw.
    To all those who need to cadge a bowl of shag i have prepared an almond and lime blend. Quite acid but a tasty smoke.
