Troop, BK and Travel Fox were worn by clubbers, and fashionsistas. SPX, LA Gear and the like were worn by gypsys

Anyone seen that Ford KA ad where the guy walks past some design type style shop pushing a white track bike (fixed at least) with a rear disc? Then at the end the camera goes past some bikes and they look to be SS. Everywhere man...everywhere...

I saw it.
Hopefuly it doesn't kill the whole she-bang like they did with the "nu-rave"scene.Interestingly there were much nicer bikes locked up outside topshit when I went by. Including the most lovely Rustbucket MkII

the colours are just brighter, otherwise it is the same as the Vans window.
If it wasn't for the Vans window this might not have happened. Who did the Vans window again?
(for the record i don't care about this but find it funny that it is ok for Vans but not for Topman)
Vans paid for Fixed Gear London to build the bike to FGL's specs of what they felt a trick bike should be. As a result they directly supported the progression of freestyle fixed. Vans support fixed gear riders and lots of people wear Vans shoes on their bikes because they work. The Vans window was a good example of how brands and enthusiasts can work together to promote something (Fixed gear bikes and Vans shoes)
Top Shop went 'Ooh! Fixies are cool! Let's sell our crappy, disposable clothes by sticking a few bikes in the window!'
See the difference now?
